Why DecisionLab Exists
A digital laboratory for the most consequential thing you do every day — decide.
We make roughly 35,000 decisions a day, yet almost none of us have ever studied how we actually decide. DecisionLab turns the abstract science of judgment into something you can feel: a set of interactive experiments that quietly measure your biases, your appetite for risk, how well your confidence tracks reality, and the unique signature — your Decision DNA — that emerges from it all.
The goal is not to make you a perfectly rational machine. It's to make the invisible visible. Once you can see a bias operating in your own mind, you gain the option to override it. That small gap between stimulus and response is where better decisions live.
Grounded in science
Every experiment maps to peer-reviewed behavioral research — Kahneman, Tversky, Asch, Milgram, and the broader judgment-and-decision-making literature.
Privacy by design
No accounts, no servers, no tracking. Your decision data never leaves your device. The lab works entirely offline.
Insight over judgment
DecisionLab never tells you a choice is 'wrong.' It reveals patterns so you can understand your own cognition without shame.
How the engine works
- 1Each decision you make emits normalized signals across seven cognitive dimensions.
- 2Those signals are aggregated into your Decision DNA — a live behavioral fingerprint.
- 3Your stated confidence is compared against actual accuracy to compute calibration.
- 4Pattern-detection generates plain-language, evidence-backed insights about your tendencies.
